Watts Whimsical?

 I recently posted pictures of some fun lamp shades that could be used to update an older lamp. To be honest, I had lamp shades on my mind because I was trying to update one of the many lamps lying around my garage for my daughters'bedroom.  But, alas, none of my lamps are the right scale for the spot.

 So, I have been looking at lamps, in particular whimsical, quirky lamps.

Any of these lamps would add a touch of humor to a room. But, sadly none are exactly what I am looking for: too tall, wrong color, too chunky, too expensive...  So, I believe I will try my hand at making my own  lamp.  Stay tuned. I will let you know how it goes.
