Deck the Halls
The holidays are almost upon us - Ah! As always I am trying to create a festive mood while staying on a budget. Check out some of my favorite inexpensive holiday decor ideas...

Makes anything into a winter wonderland.
SILVER CHRISTMAS BALLS
Put them in bowls, hang them from trees,
tie them to lamps, or
group them together hanging from garland.
PINE CONES and TWIGS
They help balance all of that silver and you can often pick them up on a walk with your kids.
FABRIC
Stretch it over pictures (put it over the glass and tape it to the backing),
add an ornament and suddenly you have a "Christmas Picture".
RAW COTTON PIPING CORD
Available at Hancock Fabrics for $1.99 a yard, looks great in garland, can be used to wrap a wreath base for a country-style wreath, or as garland around a Christmas tree.
