1960's Powder Room, Updated

Powder Room Remodel
BEFORE
Sometimes a picture speaks volumes! Straight out of the late 1960's, this little guest bath has it all - floor to ceiling marbled Formica walls, avocado green toilet and sink (love that coordinating sink vanity), medicine cabinet hanging over... nothing, and do not miss the lovely vinyl floor.
I am sure you cannot imagine why these homeowners wanted to remodel...

AFTER
Same footprint, same placement of the sink, toilet, and radiator but, oh, what a difference!

These savvy homeowners added a chair rail molding to break up the space. Above the chair rail is grass cloth wallpaper in a teal and creamy butter color. Below the molding the wall is painted Benjamin Moore's Stratton Blue, HC-142 and the trim is Ben. Moore's Philadelphia Cream, HC-30.

Last, the homeowners exposed the beautiful wood floors.
This updated powder room is a far cry from it's 1960's beginning - thank goodness!
