Decorating for Halloween

Halloween DIY
At last the curtains have been pressed and the moldings dusted... so, finally I got to do the fun stuff - Decorate for FALL and HALLOWEEN!
Pumpkin topiary - note the magnolia leaves in between the pumpkins

I couldn't resist an Edgar Allen Poe theme inside.

I have had the "Boo" sign for years. Unfortunately I have never seen another like it. But... I feel sure a similar one could be cut out of a wooden palette, painted orange, distressed and waxed. Ok, you crafty people, get out your saws!

This may be my favorite idea of the season, and it fits well with my " demented writer" theme.

Keeping the theme going, I have black "ravens" every where.

...and a creepy hand or two.

Even the sweet African violet has to get into the spirit.

My quick solution for the kitchen table - white pumpkins.

Whew decorating for Fall and Halloween is so much fun!  And to think Thanksgiving is just around the corner... tis the season...
