While I love good design, I also love a good deal. And having both... well, that makes my day.

Take a look at these beautiful mid-century splurges and their knock-offs.

Room and Board makes amazing furniture. While I appreciate their craftsmanship, this Eames Molded Plywood Chair at $889 is a little out my price range.

However, this Molded Plywood Chair from Overstock.com at $142.19 is a little more my speed.

 The Wassily Chair at Design Within Reach is $2264; which is actually out of my reach.

At $246.99 this knock-off from Brookstone seems like a good alternative.

I love the Wegner Wishbone Chair from Room and Board, $849.

Wisteria has a very similar chair, in both black and white, for $80.15.

Design Within Reach stocks the classic Knoll Saarinen table 47" dining table for $2069.

Overstock has a great copy for a fraction of the price, $544.77.

The matching Tulip Arm Chair from DWR comes with a price tag of $1667 a piece.

A very similar chair from Overstock comes in at $179.99.

Herman Miller's Noguchi coffee table is $1499

Instyle Modern's version is $295

Philippe Starck's Ghost Chair at DWR is $410. Not a bad price for a classic.

However, at $125, Instyle Modern might be the way to go.

The Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair at hive costs $4500.

Overstock has one for $544.99 with similar wool upholstery.

The classic chrome arc lamp is priced at $549 at Four Corners Home.
